Today 25.04.2015 a earthquake measuring 7.9 strikes Nepal at 12:24 IST. The quake and its aftershocks have been felt by major part of north Indian states like UP, Bihar, Jharkhand, Delhi, Rajasthan and other parts of north India also.
Epicenter/Origin: M 7.9 – 35km E of Lamjung, Nepal
Depth of Quake: 10 KM
We can expect aftershocks. These secondary shock are usually less violent than the main quake but can be strong enough to do additional damage to weakened structures and can occur in the first hours, days, weeks, or even months after the quake.
